The Los Angeles Dodgers
debuted their DodgersWIN broadcast on May 20, with
Jeanne Zelasko handling the play-by-play duties alongside former Dodger Mark
Sweeney, who will serve as the analyst. The program, believed to be the first of
its
kind in Major League Baseball, will continue for each Wednesday home game
for the remainder of the season, with the live audio feed available for free at

DodgersWIN broadcast
offensive to women? Zelasko says...
The Dodgers aren't deliberately looking for a target audience of only women and baseball newbies
they are just offering another type of broadcast option
(just like you can listen in Spanish or Japanese or you
can listen to kids call the game). What makes the
Sweeney and Zelasko broadcast different is the fact that
they're on the internet
and they're not driven by commercial time. They don't even have to take breaks!
They are the Dodgers fan's interactive broadcast. Translated ... if you have input or a burning baseball question, whether is about the nuts and bolts of the game or a current game situation (maybe wondering why Torre isn't going to the pen) you can get your question addressed by the broadcasters actually working the game.

Surviving Thyroid Cancer
Surviving Thyroid Cancer
I was very fortunate to have been diagnosed in the early stages of thyroid cancer. Armed with good information and excellent care I currently have a clean bill of health. Since my diagnosis I've talked with fans and players across the country that have been touched in some way by thyroid cancer. We all agree that self-exams and good information is key. One source I have used is
